I just had my wisdom tooth extracted this afternoon.
there wasnt much pain initially, thanks to the anesthesia.
(omg, thank you so much and i love you, whoever invented anesthesia.)

I didnt feel pain but i could feel the dentist literally digging and pulling the tooth from my gum.
that's when i think a dentist needs to be physically strong as well.

I also didnt like the sewing up part though, cus i could still feel very, very slight needle pricking.
the dentist took out one bottom wisdom tooth and for the upper one, he cut away some of the gum so that the upper tooth can grow out without making my gums so sore.

THEN, i was supposed to take the painkillers and other pills before the anesthesia fade completely because the dentist warned me that it'll be very painful if i wait till it fades completely.
but i took it a tad late and the 'painkilling' effects didnt kick in until much later after the numbness in my mouth fade.
AND SO i had to endure 15 minutes of the what seems to be most excruciating pain i've ever had in my mouth so far.

ah yes i do realise that my threshold for pain is very, very low.
i couldnt even stand a mouth ulcer, much less a really deep hole in the gum
but seriously, im questioning the function of the wisdom tooth.
its not like we're sharks and we need new teeth every now and then.
and even if we have new teeth why cant it grow nicely?

Oh and i had this swollen bump at my lower jaw.
the dentist said it was the lymph node trying to fight off bacterial infection from my wisdom tooth.
it was kinda scary for me yesterday and i couldnt stop thinking about it, well because, you know, a lump could mean a lot of things *touch wood*
now the lump is almost gone!
and really, thank you God.
okay dont be too happy yet.

aaaa i cant wait to watch Terminator Salvation.
i've been wanting to watch John Connor!!
hope it doesnt turn out lame.

i enjoyed Star Trek a lot btw. yay for Zachary quinto and chris pine.
